A plain-language account of what AIdactic collects and why. We keep it minimal on purpose.

Signing in

AIdactic uses passwordless email sign-in: we send you a link or a code, you tap it. We store your email address and a hashed session token — never a password, and never the raw token.

Your learning

When you enrol in a course we record the enrolment and basic activity so we can show your progress back to you. Your Learner Profile stores your certificate name, role, interests and goals. Your role selects tailored examples where available; interests and goals help recommend courses. Location and extra details are optional. Extra details stay in your profile and do not automatically rewrite lessons. Profile information is not shown to other learners and is stored in our own database; it is also used to write your coach’s notes, as described below.

Your coach

When you start a lesson, your coach can write you a few short personal notes. To do that we send your Learner Profile (the name, role, sector, interests, goals and location you gave us, and any extra details you added) and short summaries of the lesson to Anthropic, whose Claude model writes the notes. The note text is then sent to Fish Audio to make the coach's voice. Neither receives your email address. The notes and voice clips are stored on our servers and are shown only to you.

If your organisation invites you

An employer or other organisation can invite you to take AIdactic courses with them. Joining is your choice: the invitation shows you what will be shared before you decide, and nothing is shared if you say no.

If you join, the organisation’s training director can see your name and email address and, in the courses the organisation assigns, how many lessons you have completed, when you finished the course (your certificate date), and when you were last active.

They cannot see your Learner Profile answers, your coach’s notes, your answers to questions in lessons, or anything about courses the organisation has not assigned. If the organisation removes you, your account, courses and progress stay yours.

Cookies and tracking

We set one session cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising trackers. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which collects aggregate, cookie-free performance measurements; course media is served from our own infrastructure.

Sharing

We don’t sell your data. We share it only with the providers needed to run the platform — the email service that delivers your sign-in link, and the AI services that write and voice your coach’s notes (see Your coach above).

This statement describes the current build and will grow into a full policy as the platform does.
